As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems for our clients. You will also diagnose and repair any malfunctions in HVAC equipment and ensure that all safety and environmental regulations are met. You will travel to different job sites, so a valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required.
Your essential job duties will include:
- Installing new HVAC systems and components
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting HVAC malfunctions
- Performing regular maintenance on HVAC systems
- Following safety and environmental standards
- Communicating with clients about HVAC issues
- Keeping detailed records of all service calls and repairs completed
- Participating in training to stay up-to-date on new technology and industry trends
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- At least 2 years' experience in HVAC service or installation
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- The ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work in a variety of environments, including hot attics and cramped closets
- A commitment to safety and compliance with all regulations
