Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
Liberty Heating and Air LLC is a leading provider of high-quality heating, ventilation, and air conditioning services throughout Minnesota. We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Bigfork.
As an HVAC Service Technician, you will play a vital role in providing our customers with exceptional service and ensuring their HVAC systems operate efficiently. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of HVAC equipment, including heating and cooling systems, air filters, thermostats, and ventilation systems.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and service on HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation
• Diagnose and repair complex HVAC malfunctions and provide recommendations for system upgrades or replacements
• Install new HVAC equipment when necessary and provide guidance and training to customers on operating procedures
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
• Keep detailed records of all service and maintenance work performed
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex HVAC problems
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Refrigerant handling certification and EPA certification preferred
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
