Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
Nieboer Heating and Cooling Inc is seeking a highly motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Parchment, Michigan. We are an established company that has provided exceptional heating and cooling services to residents and businesses in the area for over 25 years. We take pride in our strong reputation for delivering quality work and exceptional customer service to our clients.
As our HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing our clients with quality heating and air conditioning services. This includes diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems, and ensuring that they operate efficiently and effectively. You will work directly with our clients to ensure their satisfaction and to resolve any issues they may have with their HVAC systems.
We are searching for an experienced technician who is passionate about providing exceptional and reliable service to clients. We're looking for someone with excellent communication skills who can explain complex issues to our clients in a way that is easy to understand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair HVAC equipment and systems for our clients
- Troubleshoot HVAC equipment to determine malfunction and cause for repair or replacement
- Advise clients on various HVAC systems and recommend appropriate maintenance procedures and repair solutions
- Identify and repair ductwork issues
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all HVAC systems
- Test pipe or tubing joints and connections for leaks, using a pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution
- Document all work performed and prepare necessary reports and forms
Qualifications:
- HVAC Certification or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 3 years field experience in HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license
