Job Description: HVAC Service Technician at Pure Air Specialists
We are a leading provider of HVAC services in the Schererville Indiana area and we are looking for a highly skilled and motivated technician to join our team. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and installations on a variety of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
Your duties will include:
- Providing excellent customer service while working with clients to assess, diagnose, and resolve their HVAC issues.
- Conducting routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
- Repairing or replacing faulty components, such as motors, compressors, and thermostats.
- Installing new HVAC systems and components, including ductwork, air handlers, and condensers.
- Testing system performance and making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal function.
- Maintaining accurate records of all work performed and all parts used.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in HVAC service and repair.
- Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and components, including electrical and refrigeration principles.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- A commitment to safety and attention to detail.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
