Position: Dietary Aides
Spruce Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aides to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a critical role in providing nutritious and delicious meals to our residents. Your responsibilities will include assisting with meal preparation, serving meals, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining area.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with meal preparation following specified dietary guidelines and restrictions
- Serve meals to residents and ensure they receive the appropriate portion sizes
- Assist with dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining area
- Properly label and store food items to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage
- Assist in inventory management and restocking of supplies
- Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure the well-being of residents and staff
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and their families
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a similar role preferred, but not required
- Food handler's permit or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as standing, bending, and lifting
- Passion for providing exceptional care and service to seniors
