Position: HR Coordinator - Starting Rate $18/hr

Phelps Health, located in Rolla, MO, is seeking a talented and motivated HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. As an HR Coordinator, you will perform various functions in the Human Resources department, including front desk responsibilities and project support. This is a full-time entry-level position with a starting rate of $18/hr.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in completing appropriate forms necessary for processing new hires and transfers, scan and index employee information
• Assist with onboarding new employees, including badge issuance and collection of necessary documentation
• Follow up with new employees regarding orientation and required documentation
• Ensure all background checks and screenings are completed prior to the first day of orientation
• Assist recruiters with effective and timely communication with applicants when needed
• Conduct personnel updates, changes, and employment verifications as requested
• Assist with all recruitment needs as requested
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma required. Associates Degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred
• Work Experience: Minimum of two years' administrative experience in Human Resources or a related area
• Certification/License: PHR preferred
• Mental/Physical Requirements: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to concentrate, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and ability to handle stressful situations. Must be able to transport self throughout the facility and lift or carry up to 10lbs
• Working Conditions: Standard office conditions
