Responsibilities
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Kith Haven, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, coordinating, providing, and managing nursing care services
- Supervising the care provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)/State-Tested Nursing Assistants (STNA) and other team members
- Administering safe and accurate medication-related interventions
- Assessing the health of guests and promptly notifying the physician of changes in status
- Selecting and implementing appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize a guest's condition and prevent complications
- Contributing to the guest's assessment (MDS/CAA's) and the development of a plan of care
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you should meet the following qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the state
- Covid-19 vaccination or acceptable exemption required
- CPR certification
