Job Title: Hurricane Debris Superintendent Job Description We are currently recruiting a Field Debris Superintendent for the greater St. Augustine area. Field Debris Superintendents are responsible for on-site observation and documentation for the collection of debris. It is the responsibility of the field debris superintendent to observe disaster debris as it is loaded into hauling vehicles to ensure eligibility. Responsibility also includes documenting the location of the debris (field monitors) and the volume of debris collected (tower/debris management site monitors). Duties include: • Report to work on time at designated area and wait for an assignment • Monitor and observe all loading activities of trucks, bobcats, front-end loaders confirm that they are loading only storm-related debris which is on public rights-of-way or property, and that they are not going on to private property to collect • Make sure Contractors pick up all eligible debris, and that they clear branches and other debris off roadway and private driveways before moving • Fill out load Tickets with accuracy • Record any damages caused by Contractor • Remain courteous, respectful, and professional at all times with residents, Contractors, government officials, and coworkers Job Type This is a contract position with a duration of 4 Week(s). Work Site This is a fully on-site position in St. Augustine, Florida. Work Environment Will work in the field and in their vehicle. Daily hours are 6:00am - 6:00pm.
