LPN STAFF NURSE - BERKS HEIM NURSING (ALL SHIFTS/FULL TIME & PART TIME)

Job Summary

Berks County Home - Berks Heim, a skilled nursing facility located in Reading, PA, is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate LPN Staff Nurses to join our team. As an LPN Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by the physician
• Assist in the supervision of nursing assistants and ensure their adherence to care plans
• Monitor residents' conditions and report any changes to the nursing supervisor
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement resident care plans
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of residents' medical histories and progress
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents by adhering to infection control procedures
• Educate and instruct residents and their families on proper self-care and disease management
• Foster positive and supportive relationships with residents, families, and staff

Requirements

• Valid LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania
• CPR certification
• Previous experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
