Job Description

We are currently seeking a caring and motivated individual to join our team as an Activity Aide. As an Activity Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by planning and leading engaging activities and programs.

Responsibilities

Create and implement a variety of recreational activities, such as games, crafts, and outings, to promote socialization, cognitive functioning, and overall well-being
Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as dressing, grooming, and eating, as needed
Document and maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans
Ensure a safe and supportive environment for residents during activities
Provide companionship and emotional support to residents

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting is preferred
A genuine passion for working with the elderly and a desire to make a positive impact on their lives
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
