DUTIES: Under indirect and intermittent supervision, to do work of complex nature in accordance with standard practices and procedures of the Company and requiring the use of good judgment and responsibility, including but not limited to the following: Prepare and maintain records of tests performed by Relay field test crews. Classify and file prints and job information. Verify correctness of as-built prints, to take trouble ticket calls. Purchase material and equipment; to provide general clerical and administrative support. Collect and assemble various data for analysis and reports; to occasionally perform semitechnical assignments and to do related work as required. Perform semi-technical assignments and to do related work as required.
SPECIAL RESPONSIBLITIES: Utilize appropriate software and systems in performance of job duties, such as, but not limited to Microsoft Office or other corporate software and web-based programs. For holding as confidential information obtained in connection with duties and relating to Company’s business or personnel, as per the Corporate Compliance Policy and supervisory instruction. Accurate compilation of records and reports. Utilization of office equipment in the performance of job duties. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to adapt to changes in systems, applications and procedures. Adhere to strict deadlines. Support operations as assigned with storm damage restoration. Able to work independently, manage changing priorities and accomplish multiple, detailed tasks with the ability to handle peak and deadline driven workloads.
CONTACTS: With personnel at all levels of the organization, in addition to nonemployees as well (vendors, customers, etc.). Personal, telephone, and radio contact with engineering, supervision and field test crews in connection with data requests and clarification.
QUALIFICATIONS: Associate’s Degree from an accredited college, university or junior college or three years of related experience. Must earn a recommended score on the EEI Data Entry Test and the Clerical Aptitude Battery (BCAB). Three (3) years of experience as an Ameren Operations Associate I or Ameren Operations Associate II, or equivalent experience. Technical requirement: Successfully complete three courses with a grade of C or higher at an accredited university, college or junior college leading towards an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Technology, or similar course as approved by supervision. All courses must be electrical in nature.
