Crest Nursing Home is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on a PRN (as-needed) basis. As a CNA at Crest Nursing Home, you will provide direct care to our residents, assisting them with their daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
• Provide assistance with feeding and hydration
• Observe and report any changes in residents' physical or mental condition
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents

Requirements:

• Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant
• Previous experience working in a long-term care facility or nursing home
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively as part of a team
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and infection control practices
