Job Overview
Palm Garden Of Orlando is seeking a dynamic and organized Assistant Business Office Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the overall operations of our business office. You will work closely with the Business Office Manager and other team members to ensure the smooth running of administrative and financial processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Business Office Manager in overseeing daily operations and managing administrative tasks.
- Handle various financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, billing, and invoicing.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions and expenses.
- Prepare financial reports and assist in budgeting and financial planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Process payroll and maintain employee records.
- Assist with human resources tasks, such as recruitment, onboarding, and benefits administration.
- Provide support in coordinating events and meetings.
- Handle inquiries and resolve issues from residents, staff, and external parties in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is desired.
- Prior experience in office administration, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and other relevant computer applications.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
