Position: Licensed Nursing Home Administrator

As a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator at Apple Rehab Avon, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of our facility. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional care to our residents, maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations, and promoting a positive and nurturing environment for both residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing the operation of a skilled nursing facility.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to uphold the highest standards of care and resident safety.
• Oversee the hiring, training, and supervision of staff members to ensure adequate staffing levels and a high level of performance.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance the quality of care and resident satisfaction.
• Manage the budget and financial operations of the facility, working closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and effective financial reporting.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and community stakeholders to promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
• Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives to drive continuous enhancement of care delivery and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Valid Nursing Home Administrator license in the state of Connecticut.
• Prior experience in a leadership role in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations governing the operation of skilled nursing facilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to effectively manage a team and drive results.
• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
