Regency At Westland is a senior living community located in Westland, Michigan. We are currently seeking a talented and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality care and support to our residents.
Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
• Administer medications as instructed by medical professionals.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring residents' safety at all times.
• Observe and report any changes in residents' physical or mental condition.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of resident care.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Follow infection control protocols to ensure the health and safety of residents and staff.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide first aid when necessary.
Qualifications:
• Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of Michigan.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Compassionate and caring nature.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
