Housekeeper

Peter Becker Community is currently seeking a Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents and guests.

Responsibilities:

- Perform general housekeeping duties such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning bathrooms

- Ensure all common areas, including hallways and entrances, are clean and presentable

- Clean and sanitize resident rooms according to established standards

- Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and personal items

- Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas

- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when replenishment is needed

- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Facility Manager

- Adhere to infection control procedures and safety guidelines

- Provide excellent customer service to residents and their families

Qualifications:

- Previous housekeeping experience preferred

- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

- Physical stamina to perform housekeeping duties, including lifting and bending
