Position Overview

We are currently seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team. The ADON will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional care to our residents. The ideal candidate is a licensed Registered Nurse or LVN with previous experience in a hospital or skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of residents
• Contribute to and demonstrate team work and team concept
• Make independent decisions when necessary
• Effectively communicate and interact with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
• Work harmoniously with other personnel
• Handle difficult residents with patience, tact, and enthusiasm

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse or LVN in accordance with state laws
• Minimum of two years of previous experience as an ADON in a hospital or skilled nursing facility
• Fluency in English, including the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the language
• Ability to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of residents
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances require
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Additional Requirements

• Pass a drug test and criminal background check

Benefits

We offer competitive pay in the range of $66,000 to $80,000 per year, as well as health insurance as part of our comprehensive benefits package.
