Emporia Rehabilitation And Healthcare Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate SLP Speech Therapist to join our team. As a Speech Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping patients of all ages improve their communication and swallowing abilities. Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine the speech and language needs of patients
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and patients' goals
- Implement therapy techniques to improve speech, language, and swallowing abilities
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Provide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding communication strategies and exercises
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patient evaluations, progress, and treatment plans
- Stay up-to-date with current research and advances in speech therapy techniques

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
- Current state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred
- Experience working with adults and/or children with speech and language disorders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficient in conducting evaluations and implementing evidence-based treatment techniques
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
