Job Description: HVAC Service Technician at National HVAC Services
At National HVAC Services, we are a fast-growing HVAC servicing company that provides top-quality installation, repair, and maintenance services for heating and cooling systems in residential and commercial buildings. Currently, we are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, to provide exceptional service to our clients.
As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing HVAC systems, performing repairs and replacements, and ensuring that equipment operates safely and efficiently. You will also need to possess excellent customer service skills as you will be interacting with clients on a regular basis.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems
• Perform repairs, installations, and replacements of HVAC equipment
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding HVAC repairs and necessary maintenance
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed
• Properly handle and maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles
• Comply with all company policies and procedures
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required, trade or vocational school certification a plus
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC service and repair
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) Certification required
• Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 pounds) and crawl in tight spaces
• Excellent customer service and communication skills with a friendly attitude
• Must be a team player and willing to cross-train in other areas of HVAC
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
