Job Description

Wyoming Retirement Center is currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Food Service Worker to join our team. As a Food Service Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing nutritious meals to our residents and ensuring their dietary needs are met.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and serving meals to residents according to established menus and dietary requirements
• Adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations
• Assisting in receiving, storing, and organizing food supplies
• Keeping track of inventory and notifying supervisor of any shortages
• Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and utensils
• Collaborating with the dietary team to create a positive dining experience for residents

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in food service or a similar role preferred
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
