Dining Services Assistant, The Village at Utz Terrace

Job Description:

The Village at Utz Terrace, part of Spiritrust Lutheran, is looking for a dedicated Dining Services Assistant to join our team. As a Dining Services Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and service of meals according to established guidelines and recipes
• Set up and maintain dining areas, ensuring cleanliness and organization
• Provide friendly and efficient service to residents, acknowledging dietary preferences and restrictions
• Assist with dishwashing and other cleaning tasks as needed
• Assist with inventory management and rotation of supplies
• Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a dining services role preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
