Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
Temper Mechanical Air&Heat, a subsidiary of TEMPCO LLC, is a well-established and respected air conditioning and heating company serving the Bossier City area. We are looking for a reliable and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team.
As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and installations on various HVAC equipment. You will diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions, communicating your findings to clients in a clear and professional manner. In addition to your technical skills, you will provide exceptional customer service to ensure our clients are happy with the service they receive.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC service and repair
- A strong understanding of HVAC systems, including troubleshooting, repair, and installation
- Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC equipment
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Responsibilities:
- Perform HVAC maintenance, repairs, and installations in a safe and efficient manner
- Diagnose malfunctions and provide recommendations for repair or replacement
- Provide excellent customer service by clearly explaining findings and service options
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed
- Ensure all work meets local codes and regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
