Position: RN Assistant Director of Nursing

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team at Nhc Healthcare - Charleston.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the overall operation of the nursing department
• Supervising and evaluating the performance of nursing personnel
• Ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations
• Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure high standards of care
• Assisting with staff education and providing support and guidance to nurses
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives and monitoring outcomes

Requirements:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of South Carolina
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of current nursing practices and regulations
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
