Job Overview: RN - Registered Charge Nurse

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated RN - Registered Charge Nurse to join our team at Crystal Care Center Of Ashland. As a Registered Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing excellent nursing care to our residents and supervising the nursing staff. This is a leadership position that requires strong clinical knowledge, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to lead a team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to our residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs
• Supervise and mentor the nursing staff, ensuring that they are providing high-quality care and adhering to all nursing protocols and procedures
• Create and update resident care plans based on individual needs and assessments
• Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and effective care for our residents
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers of residents
• Document and maintain accurate medical records for each resident
• Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and safety
• Provide emotional support to residents and their families, addressing any concerns or questions they may have

Qualifications:

• Valid RN - Registered Nurse license in the state of Ohio
• Previous experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred
• Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to effectively supervise and mentor nursing staff
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
• Compassionate and patient-focused
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in electronic medical records systems
