Contract overview
This is a placement contract between you and the employer. If the employer hires a candidate you submit, you'll be paid the contract amount.
The payments begin when the candidate starts and are disbursed over time. The contract terms are:
Market price: $800 USDEst.
Payment schedule: Paid monthly over 11 months
Phoebe Berks, a leading senior care facility, is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals for the role of Geriatric Aide. As a Geriatric Aide at Phoebe Berks, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our elderly residents.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for providing assistance with activities of daily living to our elderly residents. Your main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Assisting residents with personal care, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Aiding in mobility and transferring residents, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
- Assisting residents during meal times and ensuring they receive proper nutrition.
- Engaging residents in recreational activities and providing social companionship.
- Ensuring a clean and safe environment for residents.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with the elderly or in a healthcare setting is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient nature.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
