Job Title: Assisted Living Facility Resident Aide/Med-Tech

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Aide/Med-Tech to join our team at Lakeland Village Nursing Facility. As an Assisted Living Facility Resident Aide/Med-Tech, you will play a crucial role in providing personal care assistance and administering medications to our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with their activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Administer medications to residents as per the directions and ensure accurate record keeping
• Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or behavior
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and follow care plans
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of residents
• Attend training sessions and stay updated on best practices in assisted living care

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred
• Medication Administration Training (MAT) certification
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work well in a team and under minimal supervision
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays
