Position: Dietary Aide

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Dietary Aide. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the overall well-being of our patients by providing nutritious and delicious meals. The Dietary Aide will work closely with our dining services team to prepare and serve meals according to individual dietary plans and preferences. Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve meals to our patients according to prescribed dietary plans and individual preferences.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure safe and healthy meal preparation.
- Assist in the coordination and execution of special dietary needs, including therapeutic diets and modified textures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of meal and snack consumption.
- Collaborate with the dining services team to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Provide excellent customer service and address any patient concerns or special requests.
- Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and dining areas as needed.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or food service setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
