Job Responsibilities:
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patient conditions, and implementing appropriate nursing interventions. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitoring and recording vital signs and patient observations
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Assessing and evaluating patient responses to care and adjusting treatment plans accordingly
- Providing education and support to patients and their families
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards
- Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation of patient care
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
- Experience working in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility is preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
