Position Summary

As a Clovernook Healthcare STNA (STATE TESTED NURSING ASSISTANT), you will enjoy working in an environment that promotes professional growth and development. STNA individuals are responsible for caring for residents under the direction and supervision of an RN/LPN. This position reports to the Director of Nursing.

Essential Functions of State Tested Nursing Assistants

Maintain a positive and professional demeanor towards residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
Assist in the daily care of residents such as bathing, grooming, dressing, transferring, repositioning, and other activities of daily living.
Promote and protect resident rights, treat residents with dignity and respect, protect residents' personal belongings, and report suspected abuse or neglect.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Certification: State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification required.
Experience: Good documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills; must be able to use proper lift techniques and lift equipment to move, lift and transfer residents.
