Chaplain/Pastoral Care Director

Saint Joseph Villa is currently seeking a Chaplain/Pastoral Care Director to join our team in Flourtown, PA. As a Sponsored Ministry of the Sisters of St. Joseph, our mission is to reflect a profound love of God and neighbor without distinction.

Responsibilities:

The Chaplain/Pastoral Care Director will be responsible for leading the Spiritual/Pastoral Care Team at Saint Joseph Villa, which includes approximately 200 Sisters of St. Joseph and 70 lay residents. This role involves building relationships and providing care, support, and spiritual guidance to our residents.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in long-term care or working with the geriatric population in another healthcare setting. A Bachelor's Degree is required, and a Master's Degree in Theology, Religious Studies, Pastoral Care, Spirituality, or a similar discipline is preferred. Clinical Pastoral Education and management experience are also preferred. The ideal candidate should have a heart for serving others through compassionate listening and an understanding of the Mission, Vision, and Values of Saint Joseph Villa.

Job Type:

This is a full-time position with an 8-hour shift from Monday to Friday.
