Job Description: HVAC Service Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Jacksonville Alabama.
As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for our clients. You will also be responsible for installing new equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and testing HVAC systems to ensure they comply with safety and environmental standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance, safety, and longevity
- Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues and make necessary repairs to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Install new HVAC equipment, including ductwork, piping, wiring, and electric components
- Troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant, and mechanical problems with HVAC systems
- Provide exceptional customer service and educate clients on HVAC system maintenance and efficiency
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, including handling hazardous materials, chemicals, and electrical wiring
- Test HVAC systems for safety, energy efficiency, and compliance with environmental regulations
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of inventory, equipment, and work performed
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent required; HVAC certification or degree preferred
- Knowledge of electrical systems, refrigeration theory, and heating and cooling principles
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment, including meters and gauges
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training and development opportunities
