Job Description

As a Housekeeper at Colonial Health & Rehab Center, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facility. Your work will contribute to our commitment to providing a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
• Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
• Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, and showers
• Emptying trash containers and disposing of waste appropriately
• Restocking supplies and reporting any shortage to the supervisor
• Assisting with laundry tasks, including washing, drying, and folding linens
• Adhering to infection control and safety protocols at all times

Qualifications

• Prior experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred
• Good knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing procedures
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
• Physical endurance and the ability to lift heavy objects
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
