Job Description
We are currently seeking a Life Enrichment Assist II - Activity Aide to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our Life Enrichment Director to plan and implement engaging activities and programs for our residents. You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents by promoting socialization, wellness, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and organizing a variety of activities, such as arts and crafts, exercise classes, outings, and social events
- Engage with residents on a daily basis to encourage participation in activities
- Provide one-on-one assistance to residents as needed
- Set up and clean up activity areas before and after each program
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident participation and feedback
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a well-rounded activity program
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Passion for working with seniors and promoting a positive environment
