As an HVAC Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive top-notch service, maintenance, and repairs for their heating and cooling systems. You will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting HVAC equipment, as well as performing necessary repairs and replacements. Your expertise and attention to detail will be essential in delivering exceptional service and exceeding customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests on HVAC systems to identify issues and determine appropriate solutions.
- Perform necessary repairs and replacements of faulty components to restore proper functioning of heating and cooling systems.
- Install new HVAC units, ducting systems, and related equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with customers to explain repair and replacement options, providing clear and concise recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records of all service and repair activities, ensuring proper documentation for billing and warranty purposes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices to enhance your technical skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician, preferably in a similar role for a minimum of 2 years.
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, boilers, and ventilation systems.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex issues.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Valid HVAC technician certification and EPA certification.
- Flexibility to work on-call and overtime as necessary, often responding to emergency service calls.
