Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
Bay Area Air Conditioning, Inc. is a leading provider of HVAC maintenance and installation services across Florida. Our team is expanding, and we are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Service Technician to join us in our Crystal River location.
As an HVAC Service Technician at Bay Area Air Conditioning, Inc., you will be responsible for ensuring top-level customer service and satisfaction by providing high-quality repair, maintenance, and installation services for residential and commercial HVAC systems. Your primary duties will include ensuring the proper functioning of HVAC equipment, identifying and diagnosing system malfunctions, and repairing or replacing defective components.
The ideal candidate for this position should possess a high level of technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic. Additionally, you should have exceptional communication skills, be able to work well both independently and as part of a team, and have a strong commitment to safety and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair HVAC system malfunctions
- Replace or repair defective components in HVAC systems
- Conduct routine maintenance check-ups on HVAC systems
- Install new HVAC units and equipment
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
- Provide excellent customer service and support
- Document all service and repair activities accurately
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three to five years of experience in HVAC service and maintenance
- Relevant certifications (EPA, NATE, etc.)
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and tools
