Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Landscape Architect for immediate employment in our Northern California landscape architecture practice studio. This is a hybrid position reporting to our San Francisco or San Diego office and will support projects throughout the West and Pacific regions. This is an opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary practice focused on high-performing landscapes that tackle climate change, interconnectivity and mobility, smart growth, ecological systems, and natural resources. Our studio designs various urban public realm projects including streetscapes, parks, environmental restoration, and green infrastructure. We are looking for a passionate designer who is energized by a collaborative design process that engages colleagues, clients, and the communities we serve.

Job Summary/Responsibilities
Play an active role in the design process from concept design through construction phase services
Prepare design graphics, technical drawings and specifications
May coordinate design and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating in an assigned project
May assist in the training of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel
Under the direction of the Supervising Landscape Architect, may independently perform technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's in Landscape Architecture from an LAAB-accredited institution or related field + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Licensed Landscape Architect in CA
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
12+ years of professional Landscape Architecture experience
Strong interpersonal skills and excellent graphic, verbal, and written communication skills
Self-motivated and the ability to proactively solve challenges
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Proficiency in advanced 2D & 3D modeling software (e.g. Revit, MicroStation, Rhino3D, SketchUp)
Experience with visualization software and plugins (e.g. Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray)
Desire and ability to integrate seamlessly into both landscape architecture and multi-disciplinary design teams
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and self-edit work
A commitment to design excellence and a passion for building a better world
Familiarity with California native and climate-appropriate plant communities
Experience with RFP/RFQ processes for public agencies, institutions, organizations, and private entities
LEED GA/AP, SITES AP, or ENV SP credentials
Additional Information
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $110,000.00 - $150,000.00.
