We are seeking an Information Technology Manager who would be responsible for oversight of all aspects of, and ensure support of departmental applications, server, desktop, laptop, and tablet hardware and peripherals, budgets and training.


Oversee third party vendors to ensure appropriate service levels, network maintenance and security is maintained. Organize and provide help desk support, develop and provide IT user training, and assist Department Directors in developing hardware and software business solutions. Ensure IT security compliance with HIPAA and related laws and regulations.


This is an exempt, full-time salaried position. Potential for hybrid work.


Responsibilities:


Work with Directors, vendors, and Resident Committees to plan for IT needs.
Make project design recommendations, including hardware, software & network infrastructure that support Brookhaven’s strategic focus areas.
Act as Project Manager on IT implementations.
Oversee and maintain Brookhaven telephony systems.
Research current IT trends for business and resident applications and make recommendations.
Ensure effective disaster recovery systems are developed, implemented and maintained.
Act as Security Officer and ensure all HIPAA Security Officer responsibilities are performed.
Maintain Facility Security Plan, and related IT security policies, to comply with HIPAA and related laws and regulations.
Liaison with resident technology groups to drive resident education and automation needs that align with Brookhaven’s technology needs and resources.
Develop and maintain IT budget and IT strategic plan that supports departments’ strategic goals.
Plan and oversee regular IT maintenance and implementation of upgrades/projects with third party vendor.
Review monthly security reports to ensure appropriate service levels, network maintenance and security is maintained.
Prepare user guidelines and procedures for new software/hardware as needed.
Assist with initial training on new software/hardware, work with Department Directors to identify and support development of department super-users.
Develop training to support network protocols and support laws and regulations related to electronic information.
Maintain inventory of all software, hardware and related equipment, and network documentation.
Maintain organization and cleanliness of server room.
Maintain confidentiality of all employee and resident information.
Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by Senior Vice President/CFO.


Qualifications:


Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
5 years’ experience developing, analyzing, and utilizing a variety of software applications, assisting users with software applications, developing end user training, and developing new software solutions.
Experience managing windows desktops and servers, Microsoft 365 and active directory.
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Experience with electronic health records preferred.
Experience managing network infrastructure preferred.
