Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
Lee Heating & Cooling is one of the leading heating and cooling companies in the Waltham area. With a reputation for quality service and reliability, we are currently looking for a dedicated HVAC Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing prompt, efficient, and courteous service to our valued customers.
As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining a wide range of heating and cooling systems, including HVAC systems, boilers, and water heaters. You will work closely with our customers to diagnose problems, provide advice and recommendations for service or replacement, and ensure that all work is done to their satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair
- NATE certification or equivalent preferred
- EPA certification for refrigerant handling required
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and nights, as needed
Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt and efficient service to customers by diagnosing problems and providing recommendations for repair or replacement
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, boilers, and water heaters
- Complete work orders and communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Attend training sessions and meetings as required to stay up-to-date on new products and industry trends
- Other duties as assigned
