Financial Analyst 1

Description We are in the process of recruiting a Financial Analyst, based in Las Vegas, Nevada, 89119, United States. The selected candidate will be primarily involved in the finance industry, where they will be tasked with analyzing and reconciling accounts, as well as preparing financial reports. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Analyzing and reconciling various accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness. • Preparing and explaining variance reports to provide insights into financial performance. • Collaborating with other departments to create supporting financial forecasts and budgets. • Conducting extensive research to understand the accounting consequences of different approaches and solutions. • Utilizing Microsoft Excel and Word software for data organization, analysis, and presentation. • Applying financial and accounting principles to daily tasks and long-term financial planning. • Communicating effectively to present financial analysis to management. • Applying knowledge of popular financial management applications in day-to-day work. • Conducting financial analysis to support decision-making processes. • Carrying out ad hoc financial duties as required by the management team. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is essential. • Strong research skills are required. • Familiarity with budget processes and financial forecasting. • Ability to perform ad hoc financial analyses. • Knowledge of variance analysis and principles of financial management. • Proven experience in financial analysis is necessary. • Excellent written communication skills. • Ability to reconcile bank accounts effectively. • Understanding of general accounting functions. • Experience in QA management is a plus. • Ability to develop and manage an operating plan. • Proven track record in financial management. • Experience in financial forecast is beneficial.
