Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
Join the Forsburg Furnace Co team as an HVAC Service Technician! We specialize in designing, consulting, and installing solar electric, hot water, and pool systems for residential, municipalities, schools, and commercial applications in NJ, DE, PA, and NY. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients have functioning heating and cooling systems that meet their specific needs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including cleaning coils, changing filters, and inspecting parts for wear and tear
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in HVAC systems, such as malfunctioning motors, wiring, or thermostats
- Install and test new HVAC systems according to design specifications
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions to their HVAC problems
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Stay up-to-date on industry knowledge and best practices through continuing education and training opportunities
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required, HVAC certification preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in HVAC service and repair
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
