Job Description: HVAC Installer at Jackson & Sons
At Jackson & Sons, we provide top-of-the-line HVAC systems and services to our customers in North Carolina. We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Installer to join our team and help us deliver exceptional installation services to our growing customer base.
As an HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC equipment in both residential and commercial settings. This will include working closely with our HVAC team to measure and cut ductwork, install equipment, and ensure that all systems are functioning properly according to company standards and industry regulations.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong understanding of HVAC systems and installation procedures, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Additionally, we are looking for someone who is customer-focused and able to communicate effectively with clients throughout the installation process.
Responsibilities:
- Install HVAC equipment and systems according to company standards and industry regulations
- Measure and cut ductwork to fit specified areas
- Test HVAC systems for proper function and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers throughout the installation process
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Troubleshoot issues and determine appropriate solutions
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in HVAC installation preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
