What you will do: Verify Inventory: Conduct daily verification of on-hand inventory amounts and assess the accuracy of inventory records. Identify Discrepancies: Audit data, verify the accuracy of system records, and investigate recurring inventory issues to determine root causes of discrepancies. Monitor Corrective Actions: Implement corrective actions to address inventory discrepancies and ensure their effectiveness through regular follow-ups and re-evaluations. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to inventory integrity processes for greater efficiency and accuracy. Cross-Functional Communication: Participate in meetings with relevant departments to discuss findings and corrective actions, while keeping leadership informed of any ongoing issues. Who you are: Detail-Oriented: You have a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify discrepancies quickly and accurately. Organized & Analytical: You excel at conducting root cause analyses and have exceptional organizational skills to manage inventory control processes. Collaborative: You are a strong team player who communicates effectively across teams to resolve issues and improve processes. Proactive Problem-Solver: You take initiative in addressing inventory concerns and implementing solutions to maintain process integrity. What you will need: Level I: Education: High school diploma or GED required Experience: 1-3years of experience in manufacturing, with a preference for candidates who have worked in inventory or materials management. Level II: Education: High School diploma required; a college degree or specialized training in materials discipline is preferred. Experience: 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, with a preference for candidates who have worked in inventory or materials management. Skills, Experience & Abilities Advanced Root Cause Analysis: Ability to conduct in-depth investigations and identify root causes of discrepancies in inventory. Strong Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication to work cross-functionally with various departments. Process Improvement: Knowledge of inventory processes and ability to recommend and implement improvements. Attention to Detail: A sharp focus on accuracy and data integrity in all aspects of inventory management.
