Job Description: HVAC Installer at K & J Heating & Cooling
Do you enjoy working with your hands and have an interest in helping others stay comfortable? K & J Heating & Cooling is looking for a qualified HVAC Installer to join our team in Villa Park, Illinois.
As an HVAC Installer for K & J Heating & Cooling, you will be responsible for installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and commercial customers. We rely on our installers to ensure that our customers are happy with the installation process from start to finish.
Responsibilities will include:
- Performing installation of HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork, among others.
- Ensuring that all installations comply with current industry standards, as well as local and state regulations.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment problems and working to repair them.
- Providing exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or questions that may arise during the installation process.
- Maintaining communication with team members and customers to ensure that installations are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintaining and restocking company vehicles with inventory and tools as needed.
Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in HVAC installation or a related field.
- Skilled in reading blueprints and schematics related to HVAC systems.
- Ability to use specialized tools and equipment to complete installations.
- Positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to maintain positive relationships with team members and customers.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
