As the Director of Nursing, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the delivery of quality nursing care to our residents and ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations. Your leadership and expertise will be instrumental in developing and implementing nursing policies, managing nursing staff, and driving continuous improvement in patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the nursing department, providing guidance and support to our team of dedicated nurses.

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including state and federal guidelines, in order to maintain high-quality care standards.

- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, identifying areas for improvement and providing timely feedback and training as needed.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals, ensuring open communication and optimal resident satisfaction.
- Implement and oversee infection control protocols to maintain a safe and healthy environment for both residents and staff.
- Stay abreast of developments in nursing practices and healthcare trends, implementing innovative strategies to enhance resident care.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent; Master's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alabama.
- Proven experience in a nursing leadership role, with a minimum of 5 years of progressive management experience.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and mentor nursing staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Proficient in implementing quality improvement initiatives, with a focus on enhancing patient outcomes.
- Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
