Job Description
As a Personal Care Aide at Peter Becker Community, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents. You will be responsible for providing personalized care and assistance to our elderly residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating
- Monitoring and documenting changes in residents' physical and mental health
- Administering medications and following medication schedules
- Assisting with light housekeeping tasks
- Providing companionship and emotional support
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
