Job Description: HVAC Service Technician
Air & Energy, located in Bradenton, Florida is seeking a highly skilled and motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our team. As a HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heating, and ventilation equipment.
Responsibilities:
• Providing exceptional customer service by explaining diagnoses and repairs needed to customers in a courteous and professional manner
• Conducting thorough inspections of systems and equipment to troubleshoot and diagnose issues
• Performing routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation and prolong the lifespan of the equipment
• Repairing or replacing defective or damaged parts in HVAC systems
• Installing new HVAC systems and components
• Ensuring all work is performed in compliance with applicable codes and standards
• Documenting all work completed in service reports and providing accurate reports to management
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician
• EPA certification for handling refrigerant
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and components
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with residential and commercial HVAC systems
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
