Activities Aide Part Time

Arbutus Park Manor is currently seeking a part-time Activities Aide to join our dedicated team. As an Activities Aide, you will assist in planning and implementing recreational activities for our residents to enhance their physical and mental well-being.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing a variety of activities and programs for residents

- Engage and interact with residents, ensuring their safety and comfort during activities

- Encourage and motivate residents to participate in activities to promote socialization and mental stimulation

- Assist in setting up activity areas and gathering necessary supplies

- Maintain documentation of resident participation and provide feedback to the Activities Director

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in a similar role preferred

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well in a team environment

- Knowledge of and appreciation for the needs and abilities of older adults

- Must be reliable, responsible, and compassionate

- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
