Job Description:Provides extraordinary care to our customers through
friendly, courteous, and professional service through a broad
understanding of account handling processes, extraordinary interpersonal
skills, and the ability to resolve complex issues in a timely and accurate
mann
As a Patient Account Associate II you need to know how to:
Review insurance aging reports- Resubmit and work corrected claims and
appeals- Review and manage aging claims and accounts receivable, as well as
comprehensive follow up to maximize reimbursement
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent, required-
Minimum of one (1) year of full cycle medical billing experience, required
- Knowledge of CPT (procedures), ICD-10 (diagnoses), and modifiers, required
- Ability to read and understand Explanation of Benefits (EOB's) or
interpret denials, required
- Basic understanding of accounting procedures such as debits/credits,
required
- Experience with insurance claim appeals, required- Excellent computer
skills (including Microsoft Office applications), required- Familiarity
with electronic remittances, required
Physical Requirements:Interact with others by effectively communicating,
both orally and in writing.- and -Operate computers and other office equipment
requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.- and -See and read computer
monitors and documents.- and -Remain sitting or standing for long periods of
time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.- and
-May require lifting and transporting objects and office supplies,
bending, kneeling and reaching.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate
dependent upon experience.$18.38 - $26.65
