Job Description

Skld Muskegon is seeking a talented and motivated Human Resource Generalist to join our team. As a Human Resource Generalist, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day management of HR tasks and programs. You will be responsible for various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, performance management, and benefits administration.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and offers of employment
  • Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters
  • Conduct new employee onboarding and orientation sessions
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
  • Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity in HR systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support HR initiatives
  • Stay up to date with changes in HR laws and regulations to ensure compliance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in HR, preferably in a generalist role
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and practices
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficient in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
