Accountant

Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community is currently seeking a talented and dedicated Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general accounting duties, including recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports.

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Review and analyze financial statements to identify trends, variances, and any potential issues.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations.

• Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze financial data.

• Prepare and process payroll.

• Assist with the audit process and respond to auditor inquiries.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
